Terms of Service

Clarity Mobile Detailing, operated by Gallagher Global LLC. Effective date: October 9, 2026.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to every service booked with Clarity Mobile Detailing ("Clarity," "we," "us") and to your use of our website. By requesting a quote, booking an appointment, paying a deposit, or allowing us to begin work on your vehicle, you agree to them. You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission to have it serviced.

2. Our services

We provide mobile interior and exterior detailing at your home, workplace, or another location we approve in advance. The services included in your appointment are the ones listed in your quote or booking confirmation. Anything not listed there is not included unless we agree to add it.

3. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the vehicle's size and the condition you describe. Please be upfront about the condition of your vehicle, including pet hair, heavy soiling, stains, and odors. We may ask for photos. If we ask and do not receive them, the quote is an estimate.

A quote is valid for 30 days. We inspect every vehicle in person before starting. If the vehicle is larger than described, or has heavy pet hair, bodily fluids or waste from a person or an animal, smoke odor, sand, or heavy soiling that was not disclosed or shown in your photos, we will tell you the updated price before any work begins. It is based on the additional labor rate in Section 11. You can approve it or decline the service. If you decline, your $50 deposit is kept to cover the trip. If we change the price for any other reason and you decline, your deposit is refunded in full. Mold is different. We do not remove or treat mold at any price, as explained in Section 12.

4. Booking and deposits

A one-time appointment is confirmed once we have confirmed the date and time with you and received a $50 deposit. The deposit is applied to your final total. It is refunded or moved to a new date when you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead. See Section 6. The card you use for your deposit is kept on file with our payment processor. By paying the deposit, you authorize us to charge that card for any fees that apply under these terms. Your service balance is not charged automatically. You pay it by payment link. Visits under a maintenance plan do not require a deposit.

5. Payment

When your service is complete, we send you a payment link for the remaining balance, which is due at that time. If you would prefer to pay in cash, let us know before your appointment. We accept cash in the exact amount only, as our technicians do not carry change. Applicable sales tax is added where required by law.

Balances not paid within 7 days of the service may be charged a $25 late fee, and we may decline future bookings until the balance is paid.

6. Changing or canceling an appointment

Plans change, and we are glad to move your appointment. Let us know by text or call at (913) 210-0525 at least 24 hours before your scheduled start time and there is no charge. Your deposit is refunded or moved to your new date, whichever you prefer.

With less than 24 hours of notice, or if we arrive and cannot do the detail, a $50 fee applies. For one-time appointments, the fee is your $50 deposit. For maintenance clients, the same $50 is charged to the card on file. We may choose to waive the fee or refund a deposit as a courtesy.

If we need to cancel or move your appointment for a reason other than weather, we will give you as much notice as we can and you will not be charged a fee. Your deposit is refunded or moved to the new date, whichever you prefer.

7. Arrival and access

We give you an arrival window, not an exact minute, because traffic and earlier appointments can affect our timing. If we expect to arrive more than 30 minutes past the window, we will contact you, and you may reschedule at no charge.

Please have the vehicle and its keys available at the start of the window. If we cannot begin within 15 minutes of arriving because no one is available, the vehicle is not there or cannot be accessed, or we are turned away, the visit counts as a missed appointment and is handled the same way as a late cancellation under Section 6.

We need a safe, legal place to park our trailer and enough room to open the vehicle's doors and work around it. You are responsible for making sure we are allowed to work at the location. For parking garages and similar properties, you must get permission in advance and cover any parking charges.

We prefer to meet you before and after the service. If you will not be present, tell us ahead of time so we can arrange key handoff and payment. We do not drive customer vehicles except to reposition them at the service location when necessary.

8. Preparing your vehicle

  • Remove personal belongings and valuables before we arrive.
  • Empty any compartments you want cleaned, such as the glove box, center console, and door pockets. Compartments with items in them are left as they are.
  • Remove child car seats before we arrive if you want the seat area under them cleaned. For safety, we do not remove, reinstall, or clean child car seats, since a seat must be installed correctly by the parent or guardian.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area while we are working.
  • Tell us before we start about anything hazardous or fragile in the vehicle, and about any known damage, loose trim, or electrical problems.

9. Weather

We work outdoors, so weather can affect your appointment. Exterior services can go ahead in rain if you have a garage or covered space where the vehicle can dry. Otherwise we may reschedule because of rain, lightning, high winds, or cold. We do not perform interior services below 32°F or exterior services below 40°F. We make the final decision on weather cancellations and reschedules, and you are never charged a fee for one.

10. Results and vehicle condition

Our goal is to get your vehicle as clean as professional detailing can make it. Detailing removes dirt, grime, and most stains and odors. It does not repair wear or damage. We cannot guarantee the removal of every stain, odor, or pet hair, and we cannot reverse permanent conditions such as dye transfer, burns, fading, cracked leather, worn or scuffed plastics, scratches, or rock chips. If we see something at the inspection that is unlikely to come out, we will tell you before we start. Seats and carpets that are shampooed or steam cleaned may still be damp when we finish. Drying time depends on the weather and the material.

11. Additional charges

If a vehicle needs significantly more time than a standard detail because of heavy soiling, heavy pet hair, sand, or similar conditions that were not disclosed, additional labor is billed at $100 per hour. We will always tell you and get your approval before doing extra work.

Cleanup of bodily fluids and waste from a person or an animal, such as vomit, urine, blood, or feces, is not part of a standard detail. If we agree to take it on, it is quoted separately.

12. Services we may decline

We may decline or stop a service, at our discretion, if we find:

  • Mold, biohazards, or pest infestation. We do not perform mold remediation.
  • Weapons, illegal substances, or other items that make it unsafe or unlawful for us to work in the vehicle.
  • A location that is unsafe or where we are not permitted to work.
  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward our staff.

If we decline a service for any reason on this list, your $50 deposit is kept to cover the trip. If we find a biohazard that was not disclosed when you booked, such as vomit, urine, feces, or blood from a person or an animal, used condoms, needles, or other items soiled with bodily fluids, or a pest infestation, a $150 undisclosed biohazard fee applies whether or not we go on with the service. It covers the risk to our technicians and decontaminating our equipment. It is charged to the card on file and is separate from your deposit. If we stop a service partway through, you pay for the work completed, plus the biohazard fee if it applies.

13. Our satisfaction guarantee

We stand behind every detail. We ask you to look over the vehicle with our technician before we leave so anything missed can be handled on the spot. If you notice a concern afterward, contact us within 24 hours of the service with photos of the area. If something included in your service was missed or not done properly, we will come back and make it right at no charge. If it is still not right after our return visit, based on photos taken after that visit and an assessment by our team, we will refund 100% of what you paid for the service. This guarantee covers the work included in your service. It does not cover the limits of detailing described in Section 10, such as permanent stains, odors, or wear. We may also choose to give a full or partial refund as a courtesy in situations this guarantee does not cover.

14. Damage and liability

We are licensed and insured, and we take care with every vehicle. If you believe we damaged your vehicle, tell us within 24 hours of the service and send photos so we can look into it promptly. We are responsible for damage directly caused by our negligence.

We are not responsible for:

  • Damage or wear that existed before the service, whether or not it was noted at the inspection.
  • Parts that are loose, brittle, cracked, aged, or previously repaired and that fail under normal, careful cleaning. This includes trim, emblems, headliners, weather stripping, and worn leather or vinyl.
  • Aftermarket accessories, electronics, tint, wraps, and non-factory paint or coatings that react to normal cleaning methods.
  • Mechanical or electrical issues that are unrelated to our work.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of use, lost time, or lost income. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Kansas consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

15. Personal belongings

Please empty your vehicle before we arrive. A clear vehicle lets us clean every surface and keeps your things safe. Any compartment or storage area with items in it, such as the glove box, center console, door pockets, trunk storage, or frunk, is left exactly as we find it. We do not empty it, sort through it, or clean inside it. Loose items left in the cabin or cargo area are moved only as needed to clean and are returned neatly to the vehicle. We are not responsible for items left in the vehicle that are lost or damaged, so please remove valuables, cash, and important documents before your appointment.

16. Photos and video

We often take before and after photos and video of the vehicles we service and may use them on our website, social media, and Google Business Profile. We do not show license plates, faces, house numbers, or anything that identifies you or where you live. If you would prefer we not use images of your vehicle, tell us at any time and we will not use them. We also take photos and videos of vehicles before and after service to document their condition.

17. Text messages and communication

When you give us your phone number, you agree to receive calls and texts about your quote, appointment, and service, such as confirmations, reminders, and arrival updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop text messages. We send promotional texts only if you have opted in to receive them. Appointment reminders are a courtesy. Not receiving one does not waive the cancellation policy.

18. Discounts and promotions

Discounts and promotions must be mentioned when you book and cannot be applied after a service is complete. Each offer is limited to one per customer and vehicle, cannot be transferred, has no cash value, and cannot be combined with another offer unless we say otherwise. A discount applies to the price of the service named in the offer, not to add-ons, fees, or tax. Maintenance plan pricing is set by your maintenance agreement and cannot be combined with other promotions. We may change or end a promotion at any time, and we will honor it for any appointment already confirmed under it. If a price or offer is posted in error, we may correct it.

19. Gift cards

Gift cards are sold through Square and can be used toward any Clarity service. They do not expire and have no fees. A gift card cannot be redeemed for cash. A gift card is a form of payment, so it can be used together with a discount or promotion. If your service costs more than the balance on the card, the difference is due when the service is complete. Appointments paid for with a gift card follow the same deposit and cancellation rules as any other appointment.

20. Maintenance plans

Recurring maintenance plans are covered by a separate maintenance agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the maintenance agreement controls. The cancellation and missed appointment rules in Sections 6 and 7 apply to every maintenance visit.

21. Website use

The text, photos, video, logos, and design on our website belong to Clarity and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. We work to keep the information on the site accurate, but services and details can change, and the site is provided as is. Your quote or booking confirmation is what defines your service. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

22. Privacy

We collect the information needed to quote, schedule, perform, and bill your service. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

23. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. If you have a problem, please contact us first and give us 30 days to try to resolve it with you directly. Any legal action that follows must be brought in the state courts located in Johnson County, Kansas, and both you and Clarity agree to that venue. Either of us may use small claims court for a claim that qualifies.

24. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on our website on the date you book is the one that applies to that appointment.

25. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with your quote or booking confirmation and any maintenance agreement, are the entire agreement between you and Clarity for your service. If we choose not to enforce a term in one instance, we can still enforce it later.
